  In terms of section 14(1) of the NCTE Act, 1983,
Sri. Veerabhadreshwara S.C. / S.T. Vidya Samsthe (R.), Shikaripura, Shimoga Dist., Karnataka had submitted an application to the southern Regional Committee of NCTE for grant of recognition to Sri. Veerabhadreshwara Institute of Education, Talagunda Post, Shikaripura Taluk, Shimoga District - 577 450, Karnataka for Elementary (D.Ed.,) course of Two and Half Year duration from the academic session 2004-05 with an annual intake of 50 students.

No Objection Certificate from Govt. of Karnataka to start a D.Ed College vide Govt. N.O.C. Order No.: ED 70 PTI 2003, Bangalore dated 17-07-2003 has also been obtained by Sri. Veerabhadreshwara S.C. / S.T. Vidya Samsthe (R.), a registered body established in 19-11-1991.

Dated 25/11/04 been obtained from N.C.T.E. (Code : APSO1844)
